We have just changed server also, but seems to have gone smoothly, only overnight without a phone line..not too bad.

Karen, it wasn't the server that caused the problem, it was somehow something that had caused a big problem on the hard drive, nice man came and wiped it all off and re-installed all my old programmes etc. It was a good job I had done some re-installation cd's when the computer was new. He has done a great job and everything seems to be working ok on it now in fact it has made it a lot faster and the only thing that caused any problems was having to sit at it yesterday and change all my passwords. I had my pictures etc. all backed up onto an external hard drive so haven't lost any of my work and pictures.

I see. I had downloaded anti virus software and that jammed mine up completely, so once I uninstalled that....no more probs. It was a huge file....big as Microsoft office! Ridiculous.....what's more, it never found a single virus in the three system scans I did with it before I had to remove it! Lol

Annie....baby = messy house.....there's no getting away from it! I used to get n to trouble for having the house TOO tidy! Apparently, tidy house + baby = neglectful mother! Lol!

Well I managed a couple of hours today Rose! What a wonderful sunny day....hope you had one too...it really does my soul good, a day like this. :)

We've had three good days and now its changed for the worse again! They are saying that its going to be a bad February! I do hope they are wrong!

I fear it is going to be a cold wet late winter Rose, but perhaps the spring will be lovely....I think we really need some decent weather this year. :)

Painting your arches? I just leave mine. Mind you, my garden doesn't look like yours lol .... more of a shabby chic look ...without the chic:-)) I've been trying to tidy some clematis on the back garden and pruning the Queen of Sweden. Unfortunately the soil is so sodden and when I looked where I had been standing, I saw lovely green tulip leaves. I hope it recovers, I saw nothing when before I stood there:-(

Yes, they re beginning to look very smart! I'm going to do the greenhouse as well! Tbh, I'll do anything to get out in the garden....even painting!
