Karen it was, quite a shock really, like your choices for the shade garden, going to be beautiful when it is all finished...
Louisa thanks I made sure there were lots of buds on it when I bought it, have been caught out before!!
Sandra it does not feel like Spring here, well if the wind dropped it might!
Planto it is another early flowerer.....
Amy it is in a fairly sheltered position, a lot of the lovely pink flowers dropped off Debbie.....shame.
Klahanie pleased you like it.....
Thanks paul and TT.....

Very nice one. I wonder, why mine arenĀ“t blooming, yet. This one reminds me the peony Cheddar Charm.

Wow, now that is gorgeous Dd....lol I've just read Petaltracey's comment, that's just what I was going to say!

Janey and Petal it is very Much like a peony, I just wish the flowers would face me instead of facing the fence, nearly fell in the flower border trying to get this photo lol
Katarina these are fairly early, my other Camellia will not be out until April....
Simbad have gradually changed the soil to accommodate (you can do this in a tiny garden) acid loving plants, so this is a Pieris, Camellia, Hellebore, and Acer border.....has taken a good ten years but I think they like it.....
HB thanks, it makes a change from our others, as they are all pinks....
