All up and ready!

Water butts in place and a pile of compost, which I have covered over to give it a little heat boost!

what does the butt feed from? or is it an overflow one that you fill manually from other sources?

I wanted a water butt here, but there are no visible downpipes anywahere along the block - I could put buckets out to catch the rain and fill it from that, but it'd be a prob having to hopscotch around the tiny spaces that I'd be left! If i could somehow pipe the rain from the mini-greenhouse roofs and the worktable I'm sure I could half-fill a butt in a pretty short time.

My wee greenhouse came with a little downpipe! Won't be long till its filled with this rain. Can't do much on the veg patch, too wet. Covered it with tarp in the hope that it stops raining soon!

I'll have to see if I can get some mini-guttering on my worktable roof and the mini-greenhouse store shed; could get a small butt between, maybe. would certaintly like to try!

Good luck with it Fran. There is always the option of a watering can with a wide funnel that fits into the top of the can and collects as much rain water as it can!

lol I've filled or half filled watering cans without any funnel just by leaving them upright out of shelter. Just hate to see water going to waste when it could be collected. Well, not waste: it'll drain in to the ground or join a watercourse and get evaporated and start all over again - but it can do that after it'sb een collected as well!
