Before I knew it the meadow was full of deer ! Punkers is the matriarch doe and so far is the only doe to bring her fawns out into the open. The 3 deer that came into the field with Punkers and her fawns and the turkey hen and poult were last year's fawns (triplets) I believe. They're definately in the same family. It wasn't long before the whole bunch was running and bucking and playing with each other. Even the hen and poult joined in with the play by jumping up into the air, flapping and running. It was one crazy sight !

Sounds like fun! I can imagine my 7 year old daughter Amy just loving that kind of sight. How lucky you are! Lovely.

Lori, I forgot to answer your question. I do not have a blind. Some pics are taken from behind a window and some pics I'm actually outside where they can see me. And Cottagegardener, yes this is our side yard or garden. And nice to meet you too !~
