Seeing such photos at this time of year is truly astonishing. I am sure you are longing for the snow to go away and then the garden can recover.

snow moving very slowly W/rose, still at least a foot but we can get out, not even started sowing seeds yet, just a waste of time really. this time last year OH had all his runner beans planted out in the garden, this year they are still in the packet unopened, what is the weather like in devon,

We have had 3 days of sunshine with a cold wind blowing but in a sheltered spot it is quite pleasant. The soil is till very cold and wet though. Nothing has been planted yet in our veg patch either.
30 Mar, 2013
when the snow goes our little veg patch will be waterlogged, not holding our breath to growing much this year, I normally have about 70 begonias potted up now but they are still in the garage in a box. still thick snow up here.

I love rhubarb and Gerry planted a new plant last year so we're hoping for a bit more to pick this year. Hope yours produces well for you Yorkshire. A little snow left now and snow flurries in the air. Very cold outside.

my Rhubarb amazes us every year Lin, it grows in all weathers, bought it from B&Q about 20 years ago for £2.75, we keep the neighbours in rhubarb all summer, still snow lying here too and like you bitterly cold. hope your Rhubarb produces well for you also.
