I do love Miss Bateman, and yes, always the green bar, which is what makes it so special in my view! I don't grow her here because she wilts on my soil...so thank you! :))

We have this one and it is usually out by now, but she has been left to her own devices this year....I like the stripe that is what makes her different..

No Amy, I have tons of Clems, but not many large flowering early ones. They don't do well here. I believe Clems generally thrive better in a slightly alkaline soil, but I think my main problem here is cold and slugs...whatever the reason, I've tried this one in both my gardens and it didn't do well in either.

I hadn't noticed this one in flower Dd OH pointed it out to me , never mind Karen as long as you can grow lots of other Clems thats something to be pleased about ,our soil is slightly alkaline .

Janey that makes a lovely contrast the red and white climbing together ..
It's very pretty Sb , you would like it the stripe isn't strong enough to spoil your colour scheme :o)

I didn't realise how many I had until I checked my labels Driad I have 30 , I have trouble remembering which is which I often look at the labels to identify them , the thing is I took some cuttings myself from ones I have so they don't all have labels .. I'm very fond of them .:o)
