A field of Oil seed Rape

Just made me sneeze.......

Even this is late in Northants :o)

Ha ha....Dd, yes me too we have so many fields of this here too. I love to see it Amy against a heavy grey sky, amazing contrasts!

Such a sight. The farmers around here dont seem to grow this nowadays.

I saw masses of it in Suffolk yesterday, so bright and cheerful

The fields and woods near you Amy are awash with gorgeous colour!

It made me sneeze to in fact it brought on a touch of hay fever , we have acres of it growing in Norfolk I think the farmers are getting fed up with the problems of growing Sugar beet and are growing more Oil seed Rape !
We do have our share of colour in the spring Carol even on a dull day it looks sunny with these bright yellow fields ...

the fields do look lovely with the yellow flowers but i do wish we could have a field of blue or red sometimes just to change the scenery a bit! lol

things are very colourful in your area, Amy! white garlic, pink campion and golden rapeseed. I have to take a pic of a blossom on a shrub which I've found...maybe you can ID it for me?
