But I do love the frilliness of this one , I have some like this except they are pink growing on waste ground outside our front gate I must have thrown some seed out with garden debri to burn !

I love these poppies! so pretty yet so tough. their seed survives our winters and they come up unbidden..found a patch starting in my newly dug hosta bed, for heaven's sake! I've had the pink ones like this forever, it seems...but purple? that is just gorgeous!
