When she was 6months old I came across this clematis and as I had C.montana Elizabeth [Elizabeth is her sister] I just had to have it. I have never seen it so floriferous as it is this year. Victoria is blooming too, almost sweet sixteen!
the rose is New Dawn.

Both beautiful, and very much like her mother if I remember rightly.

thanks cinders, she is lovely but looks more like her dad. Elizabeth is more like me except for colouring, a very fiery red head in her case.

What a lovely combination - both looking at their best.
It must be the result of the wonderful summer :-)

the clem is still doing well but it looks like she might have glandular fever, she hasn't been well at all and is now having blood tests :o(
wonderful summer indeed.

Oh I do hope that Victoria feels a lot better soon and I shall keep my fingers crossed that it isn't glandular fever. It does seem to be something that the youngsters get. Hope a restful summer will help her too.

Yes, hoping you're feeling much better soon Victoria, right in the middle of summer too! Could be the stress of end of year exams.....:o(((, thank goodness my days of those are a distant memory! It's still a lovely photo of you and your clematis though...:o))
