Hywel, the storm is gone and no damage, just a mess around ...lots of debris.
Sheila, the fence is strong as a rock. Post are well cemented in the ground and it is really in the woods , so protected from the strong winds. :-)

just thought you must get some really bright and colourful rainbows that way? or iam i thinking wrong??

You are not wrong Jane. We had 3 just the past week.
We have lots of drizzling rain and when the sun comes there is a rainbow. Although in the last week we had pouring rain. All my remaining plants are completely beaten up. This kind of rain usually does not come until November and then we are gone down to Mexico, seeking more sun.

i wondered if it was the case that you had drizzling rain!!!as i thought kind of like Niagara fulls!!! iam remembering the spray and the multitude of rainbows one can see all along the fulls...

No damage Delonix, just left a lots of mess.

I bet. I saw many of the news cast segments from Seattle, WA. and parts of Astoria, OR. It was a mess with a lot of wind-damage.
