Nicandra Physoloides

Shows up well against the white wall ..

It looks to be quite tall and spreading ,Neena..is it? great backdrop to it :o)

Its a new one on me, and planted in just the right place

Thank you TT it is a most unusual and pretty plant, it is also called Shoo Fly plant and Apple of Peru, all parts are poisonous - who would have thought! :o)

It is about 3' tall and 3' wide Bloomer it is planted in a narrow bed in front of one of the village cottages - the one with the sunflowers (See stem by chimney pot!) it looks lovely dark and mysterious :o)

I hadn't seen it before either Pam, I spotted it when taking the sunflower pics I put on here in Sept. I love it despite it being poisonous - the gardener grows it every year and has come to no harm! :o)
