Bik did the experts confirm your id for this plant? rareplants.co.uk sell one which does look very like this under that name. It is interesting that it gets its leaves at the flowering time.

just helping people from the University of Athens giving information about plants in my aera.there are some interesting and rare such as
c.biflorus stridii
paeonia peregrina
tulipa rhodopaea

I am sure you will be giving first hand knowledge to the University which will help in their work. I do like this website for the vast range of plants we get to see which we never would in the normal run of things. My Pancratium maritimum (sea daffodil) seedlings continued to grow through last winter, in the greenhouse. They have grown well all summer so I am hopeful that one day I will see flowers.
