Great plant, isn t it. I think, I have the same sort. How quickly does it develop from bud into flowers like these? Mine has had one big bud since Christmas and nothing happens.

Katarina, I think the buds were showing for a couple of weeks, definitely not since Christmas! I hope yours open up soon.

my viburnum bodnantense 'Dawn' is doing the same as kats hellebore....stuck in time...the bud has been 'about to burst' since Christmas! We need a bit of sunshine!

I only really discovered Hellebores from the wonderful photos from GoY members!

I can see why - they look wonderful in all of their photos.

I agree Chris ... there are some truly gorgeous ones being shown ... it is a dry day again so I shall be attempting to shape a large Pittosporum shrub later ... can't wait to get out in the garden!
