Just one corm planted a few years back and look at it now. It has been a while for it to get to look like this but it has been well worth the wait. :O)

Hi Melchi, think I have both - is Hederifolium and Coum? think that is right. I was wondering why some have only got leaves now I think I know, mind you only THINK. Some in the border near my seating area flowered in the summer and maybe they are the C. Coum variety. lol oh it is so confusing. lol. thank you for looking in :O) Hope you are not being blown away. It is not too bad here but raining again, had a trot around and took these pictures this morning before it started raining and managed to sweep the paths up and feed the birds before it got really wet. Sat in front of the fire now knitting and keeping warm. :O)

AbFab!
One of my favourites and straight to faves.
My ones in the hanging baskets are still going strong.
I love them.

mum, hope this helps...coum are late winter flowering...their leaves are smaller and rounder than hederifolium, which flower aug/sept. I remember that at the talk I was at they said not to plant them together because hederifolium will edge out the coum.

thanks everyone. Yes that certainly does help Karen, so these must be Coum, good to have the info on them thanks very much. They are beautiful, there is another corm close by in flower and it has not got as many flowers on it but it is slightly deeper purple than this one, so pretty. :O)

Aren't they gorgeous? I have cyclamen hederifolium which flowers in late summer. They spread and spread. Just now, the beautiful leaves are at their best, then they'll disappear and the whole thing will start again later.
