Early flowering Prunus

Janey, it looks like my subhirtella...has it been flowering over the winter a little?

Doesn't it just shine out, beautiful and such a lovely blue sky too :)

It's beautiful what a wonderful background with the church and the dazzling blue sky , where was I ? at the dentists :o(

Beautiful, we bought a couple of Prunus last year, but they did not flower well, this year the one tree has lots of blossom, hope it looks as pretty as yours.

Karen, no this has just come into flower, I think it may be the one to the right here cerasifera, purple leaved plum.

Aw Amy, been at Mum in laws today, she's poorly, so been busy inside. Sat outside with my mum later though and was it warm! It's her 92nd today!

This warm sun has certainly brought the blossoms out Dd, hope yours is doing better. This one really grew well last year, I think it's established at last!

We were out around Oxfordshire the other day & the huge amount of white blossom in the hedgerows everywhere was amazing.
Don't know what it is though, - is it hawthorn or blackthorn or what?!!

Could well be Janey, but I never use the sloes!!
We don't live in Oxon, but no doubt there would be plenty in Gloucestershire!
My daughter has used them in the past for the Sloe Gin!!

Ooh, yes! My hubby used to make Sloe wine too...mm...
