Thanks girls ,yes it's the sweet pea family Hb but not the climbing variety it's a small shrub about 12" high and it's covered in these pretty blooms .....

You must have been to the same Garden Centre Amy lol this was there too, I checked it out as I'd never seen it before,very pretty, I came away with another new Hellebore though, oh dear.

I bought this one last year Kathy and had every intention of saving the seed but guess what it fell off while we were on holiday I'll try again this year and let you know if I have some !

This is a lovely little plant, although a little fussy in my experience. I left it behind when I move and regret that now.

Please tell me in which way it was 'fussy' Meanie ,this was new last year any advice is welcome I don't want to lose it ,it has loads of blooms I have it planted in gravel !

No idea really. It just struggled until I moved it, yet Sues in a similar position has never bloomed. Amazing isn't it - I finally get mine to bloom and then moved!

You didn't talk to it Meanie , maybe with pure luck mine is in a spot it likes :o)
