Prunus cerasifera

you've given me an idea with these spring pics. I think I'll do something like this under my prunus subhirtella autumnalis. Watch this space! It will get rid of a little bit more grass! I shall call it my Sheila patch!

You never know! ;) I was asking about the name of the Prunus because it looks like the ones you see in the hedgerows here. Is it a wild cherry?

..ok, I googled it...have sussed it now. I was right..this is the hedgerow plant. :)
