Lilac and Acer

My lilac is not blooming yet either, Bloomer. Most of my plants are still in bud.

Thank you Bloomer and Klahanie . . . I cut a piece of the Lilac this morning, and its scent is now wafting round the kitchen . . . love it!

A lovely combination and I love lilac and it's very special scent. Mine is still in bud but I am looking forward to it coming into flower.

...and Euphorbia underneath as well if I'm not mistaken. it's a lovely planting combo. The Acer hiding the bare lilac stems. :)

I love this colour of Lilac Sheila! :o) Does anyone know why it's meant to be unlucky to bring Lilac into the house?

Sorry Sheila I hadn't read all the other comments... It's likely to be no more unlucky than putting an umbrella up indoors... or shoes on the table...!!!

What a great combo. So natural, but also unexpected...

How about throwing salt over your left shoulder to prevent bad luck. That is if you happen to spill some!
