Mahonia (new sbrub 16) front

Mahonia mixed up with another shrub Fran. Yellow blossom might be quite fragrant close up.

There's four shrubs jammed into that corner, Dorjac; the Mahonia is split around one of them. I'll check the fragrance next time I'm outside and I remember!

Might be one of the corporate smaller mahonias. Has rounded leaves and flowering much later than mine, which is December to Feb.

lol \i'm so green at "real" gardening that I don't know what should be flowering when. Hope to find a gardener locally who can tell me more. And will try to get shots of the leaf shapes of all the shrubs, which might help ID them
