Beautiful blossoms! Mine have all finished flowering now and my book says it's ok to prune back after flowering, so I'd better get going with the secateurs!

I think they flower better if pruned hard every year.

Lovely Ribes. My Grandad always used to tell me that anything that flowered up to June Prune in July and anything that flowered after then prune back in end of November, December.

That is good advice Lindak. I was told when it comes to pruning Clematis, flower before June don't prune. I only prune back my Spring flowering Clematis when they are getting out of hand. With my shrubs I take your Grandad's advice.
