I love the way the Welsh Poppies 'pop' up everywhere.

Lovely combo there Bloomer, the Welsh Poppies are scattered around in my garden too :o)

Lovely combination. We have bright yellow Welsh poppies dotted around our garden.

Thank you Paul..do you mean the poppies or Cerastium? The latter, quite a few weeks, then they start to look straggly,so they need cutting back quite hard.Sometimes they flower again, but if not,you have the lovely silver foliage...beware,it can be a thug..The poppies go on all summer..but need deadheading when the petals drop,:o),if you don't want them everywhere..I still miss some! but they are allowed to spread in that border..:o)

Thank you Scottish, The Poppies chose to seed there,so it wasn't my decision.:o) but as nothing much will grow under the tree,I let them seed freely.
Thank you Carole, I like them together too..will wait to hear from you..:o)
So do I Linda..I only dig up new seedlings,if they are in the wrong place now..and thank you..
Thank you Neellan, and I sort of thought you would have lots,in their native country :o)
So have I Alan,I love both colours, and thank you..although my yellow ones are slowly making their way into my neighbours part of that long border..The Great Escape, comes to mind, only they don't need a tunnel Lol. I need to be more vigilant at border control :o)

They look great, Bloomer. I've gone for orange and white too but in a pot. The white is Snow in Summer but I can't remember what the orange is! It's not flowering yet though and is more scarletty than the poppies. I think it may be some form of lychnis.

Thanks,Val,nice and cheery ,aren't they?
You are welcome Paul.:o)
That will look lovely T'bear, and thank you..I have Lychnis in a border, but mine is a deep cerise colour..I don't think I've seen the colour you have.I hope you will past a photo when they are in flower..

Mine have no buds on yet ,Tbear....It must be at least 10 years ago, since I bought a pack from Lidl ..:o) Not the originals of course, but lots of good rooted pieces since...I've definitely had my £1 worth Lol.

I really like the orange poppies with the lime green of the Euphorbia.

That combination looks great Bloomer. But then your garden always looks good.

Very pretty scene Sandra and featuring one of my favourite flowers, the lovely welsh poppy. My favourite is the yellow, but since the orange arrived here, some of my yellows have orange tips ...is nothing sacred? :-))

Nice garden Sandra. I really like the poppies. I also have Snow in Summer which is ready to start blooming. For how long do they stay in boom?
