Thirsty Bee ?

I THINK I am correct, when I say that this bee, was taking a drink of morning dew, from an iris flower head.

Well caught !!!
I tried to get a picture of some this morning on the ceonothus but they wouldn't stay still long enough :-)

You need to wait until they are engrossed and drunk on nectar Alan. Great shot!

Plants emit guttation droplets (source of morning dew) in the early morning which bees love! they leave hives early in morning to drink it..

great capture!
