Crocosmia ... Lucifer

I love it but it makes me think of summer ending!

They are so striking, I just love to see those large spikes of red flowers;0)

You and me both Chris in fact several things recently have made me think of the autumn :o( they are lovely Carole and make a good splash of colour :o)

Thank you for naming this one, Amy! It is another plant whose name escaped me when I was taking photos this morning - I was calling it Red Devil (knew it was something wicked!)

The ones in full sun are already going over, luckily we have some more in the shade.....a very striking plant..
