Yes I put it on my heavy clay areas in the hope that it makes a difference!

I am beginning to find emptying it is getting a bit much for me DD and am thinking of stopping it as it very heavy to left and shift now.

You have some good compost there ,we have two compost bins made from wooden pallets , I know I couldn't cope with it myself its all thanks to OH managing that side of things ..I agree it is hard work ...

Drc it is heavy work, I remember from years back.....when we had acres of land.....

I am reluctant to give it up as I dont think anything as good can be bought.

It soon drops down to make room for more luckily.

Seems to have been a good year for compost. We have distributed our compost over the garden now and it had hundreds of worms in it. They don't go on strike!

I did just the same at my Mums garden last week ... so many worms within ... not to mention the foil milk bottle tops and a couple of teaspoons she had thrown in ... lol!
