It looks very Phillip Serrell DD on bargain hunt! He likes wooden bygones, or even Chinese rice buckets. I'm sure you will make good use of it in your garden display.

Dorjac that is true, he does like old and unusual pieces, sometimes I am amazed at the items he buys!!

Funny in a recent programme, maybe a repeat, Serrell had an auction success with a blue plough made of metal of course. He really does like woody items. The bucket you bought was really lovely. We've given our old outdoor bygones away. I do have about 9 chimney pots and 3 old China sinks, now I come to think of it but no money payed.

I still like to see the chimney pots planted up, and the sinks..
