Great! I noticed that there was some new growth on the little yellow one that is growing among the stumps. Gave it a some leaves for protection. I'll have to wait for next spring but you have them blooming! Oh to be in England! lol....

You will have yours to look forward to later Lori ,these are very early,we have had a freeze for couple of nights the water was frozen in a can in the greenhouse ....

I noticed a bit of frost on the little beauties. Technically it's still autumn! Want to get this winter overwith and it hasn't even started yet! It's been very cold here with periods of seasonal...wonder what that's going to mean for the deep freeze months? Brrr.... would love to have an English winter.

We have good and bad Lori our weather has definitely become milder over the years when I was at school the snow use to reach the tops of the hedgerows stopping the school bus from picking us up until the roads had been cleared it's hardly ever that bad these days ,maybe further up north but not here in the south /East ... I know you love living where you are but it would be nice for you not to have such long hard winters ....

Yes, Amy, there are times! Usually in the middle of February, when I'm just fed up and need to take a reality check. It's not hard to get grumpy and out of sorts...just had enough! Last spring was especially hard because it came late and it was cold til the middle of May. Had very few apples and almost no walnuts. Their blossom was frozen off!

oh, lovely, especially with rain or dew on them

Lori I wonder where the perfect place to live in the world would be weather wise ? My cousin Skyped me from Australia last night and was complaining about it being too hot there !
Thanks Fran :o)

Thanks Sandra , we've been Xmas shopping today and are whacked it'll soon be time to open a bottle of wine LOL . I bet Thomas is getting very excited it's a lovely age to be at Christmas :o))
11 Dec, 2014
I hope you managed to get it all done,Amy,,and what a day to have to go shopping,if it's been anything like ours this past two days ! you and Tony deserve that bottle of wine..just the one then ? :o) Thomas is raring to go..he asked yesterday what were the parcels in a bag on top of a Wardrobe! I lied,of course :o) x
11 Dec, 2014
Just about done Sandra only the wrapping up to do now ! Guess what the manager of a seed company called in this evening to give Tony 4 Bottles of Sloe Gin to be given to helpful farmers ... will they reach them ? I ask you what a question .. LOL ... Christmas isn't the same without a little excited ' Thomas ' in the house , its what makes it all worth while isn't it ... there was a tiny child only about a year old dressed in an Elf outfit today in a restaurant he looked so cute I wanted to cuddle him ... ;o)) x
11 Dec, 2014
I have a feeling those bottles will be staying where they are Amy !Lol..I agree,Christmas is much better with a little one around..I love to see them so excited,He is loving his Christmas jumper, and will be allowed to wear it at school on a festivity day..Not sure if they are having a Nativity play..he just looks blank when asked :o) x

They are so pretty Amy ... I must look around the garden later to see if any of mine are blooming yet. Little Ellora came over yesterday and proudly sang 'Jinga Bells, Jinga Bells' ... I know what she meant really! She was fascinated by the fairy lights in our hall ... preferred those to the Christmas tree ones ... lol!
13 Dec, 2014
Well Sandra that is a very big word I would look blank at that age try using pantomime LOL ... Shirley I hope you did a recording of Ellora for when she is grown up and for you to listen to when she isn't with you :o)
13 Dec, 2014
Amy, I wish I had recorded her little singing voice! Our son has now taught her how to do a 'High five!' ... not sure if that's good or not really. :o)
15 Dec, 2014
I found out they don't do a Nativity at the Reception class,Amy..but they will next year....and Shirley, nothing wrong with a High Five..:o)
15 Dec, 2014
We didn't have things like that available when our children were little Shirley which means we often don't even think about recording stuff ..The High 5 will come in useful Lol ..That's why Thomas was looking puzzled Sandra ,ask him again next year ;o))
15 Dec, 2014
I forget sometimes he is only four..in his head he seems older ! don't they all ? Maybe I should ask him about Einsteins Theory of Relativity instead ? sounds like Nativity ! ha ha xx
15 Dec, 2014
Near enough Sandra , He'll be doing an ' Oligy ' before you know it Lol .... X
