No lights on this one......yet! As soon as I saw it I thought of Fran, TT :)

Lol. Gee ... check back some time after dark, and see if Fran has sneaked around with some decorative lights ...
... or perhaps you could show us a lit up version .. à la Fran ... by using trick photography ? ;o)

lol Gee, not guilty! bit far for me to travel, alas; and I'd have built it a bit taller - there's nothing to give it scale, but it deosn't look very tall - or windproof! the cakes are a nice idea, htough ....

Perhaps children having a bit of more fun building a 'den' out of natural materials. Not too many doing that nowadays. Or even whisper it.... the fairies made it. However children building a den in some woods had the police called for for disturbing the natural landscape....how times have changed!

That’s a shame, Dorjac – typical, sadly, of attitudes these days. If they built it in the woods, how was it seen to be a disturbance? Passer-by? Someone with a telescope?

Lol in this country there’s no such thing as a “natural landscape”! the land’s been sculpted by humans for at least ten thousand years!

When I used to be a Cub Leader we’d take the kids camping and they’d love building their own team dens – don’t think they’re unusual in that. even in the bit of rough ground behind my gate, I’ve found a couple of spaces that look semi-natural “hides” that have been adapted.
