Calendula for cosmetic oils

All these flower heads are picked and dried, one by one.They are then dried on a screen. The oils are extracted and mixed to produce various personal oils. All hand made.

I have a friend who does this for a another friend who makes the oils. It is in Middleton Springs, VT. It is not a commercial Enterprise.

When I saw this photo on my home page here I thought they were tomatoes! I wondered why anyone might like to extend tomatoes on the floor! Now I see they are Calendulas & not tomatoes! LOL!
