Feverfew still blooming strong. Blooms from spring to frost.

They are cheerful at this time of the year. Thank you Terra :-)

I still have these in flower too. I've never looked for a name, just thought it was a double of the run of the mill feverfew which seeds itself everywhere. This one is just that little bit prettier and, here anyway, not so prone to be smothered in blackfly as the normal feverfew in late summer.

I do not have black fly on mine Thorneyside. None of them. I think it is very pretty but I do not like the smell so I do not bring it to the house. I have only doubles. I do have a problem with variety of invasive plants. This one is not the worst :-) and easy to pull.

The blackfly only comes on the single, (Tanacetum parthenium )in my garden, which finished in August time and I agree, very easy to pull if you don't want them. I'm not complaining about the self seeding, I think they're very pretty, dainty little flowers.

I have seen your photo Thorneyside. It look very much like this one. I almost thought it was mine photo first :-)
Thanks Amy. I have not used it medicinally (yet) I know I do not like the smell of it but I do like these tiny little flowers mingle with other plants.

The difference is yours is growing in what looks like woodland Klahanie and the one in my photo is growing out of stones where I park the car. They must like these conditions as others have seeded nearby too. It's the same with the gravel path in the garden, lots of things seed in it and I have to check it out before I can hoe.

They do like your condition better than mine...for sure...sunny and hot. That is why I do not have much problems with them. It is hardly too hot but it is dry all summer and they like that..

Mine are still in flower. No black fly this year either. I just leave some seedlings here & there as they look pretty amongst the other plants.
