Very pretty one Kathy, we have some still flowering and lots of buds on....

Are they mega hardy Kathy? I had one once but it was eaten by slugs, so never made it into winter.

Thankyou girls :-)
I've only grown them for the last 3 years Dawn all mine except one were tiny roots from Hayloft Plants but all have taken they still aren't very big but have survived outside with just a mulch when it gets colder, which is probably now looking at the blackened dahlias today!

Thanks Kathy, I might get some then. It was cold last night, wasnt it. -5 here, I guess I should be mulching too. Looks like the dahlias will need lifting then, if you can be bothered ;-) What do you normally mulch with compost or manure or something else?

Hi Kathy ..
that's stunning !

Might leave the dahlias Dawn they're in quite well drained soil, see how they go, I usually use compost to mulch often the compost from my growbags but not this year as I didn't grow any tomatoes!
Thanks Tt :-)
