Good looking, and I see he/she eats very well.

He or she is gorgeous - we saw a smaller version in Crete a few weeks back - thanks for sharing - Jane

Thank Jane for your comment :-)

I think it is lovely too. Nice to have these different creatures around, isn't it.

Great . . . like the one we saw in Rhodes, only ours was pregnant!

Feverfew,These are innocent critters and fun to have around to entertain us . I cannot say that about our grey squirrel on the Island which can be entertaining but also very destructive.

Sheila, I am not sure if this one is not pregnant too. It looks on the fat side. I will let you know if we'll have some little ones running around.
BTW, I love Rhodes. Too bad it is so far from where we live. Samos and Rhodes are among my favorite Greek Islands. We spent some time (holidaying) in that region when working in Europe (many moons ago).

Thanks Klahanie, but be careful what you wish for! Last time we went to Rhodes, two or three years ago, the main town was very crowded, and coping with Enormous Cruise Liners in the harbour. (Lindos was OK though . . . )

I know what you mean Sheila. The same is happening here ...seemingly in middle of nowhere. When we first started to come this was just a sleepy village with a few ex-pat artists . Now it is overrun with 20 000 gringos wanting their way of life. Even more in winter when all the snowbirds (like us) from Canada come. The traffic is unbelievable. All this regardless of the bad reputation Mexico has . Good promoting...I guess. This is not a tourist destination. It has only one advantage ...great weather. Best on this planet the National Geographic claims. It is harder and harder to find a nice stable place without crowds these days. We are still OK on Vancouver Island in summer because there is a water between the land and us and ferries are slow and expensive way to go, but watch out if they build a bridge (some talks about that) ..not in our life time though.

That's so interesting Klahanie.
NO - you do NOT want a bridge between Vancouver Island and the mainland - that would spoil your beautiful wilderness!

That's a big geco!
