How incredible to see this, not in a pot inside, Klahanie!

Actually, this plant is native to Mexico Driad.
Thank you Janey. This is a neighbours plant sneaking through the fence.
Sheila, I did not know that Leycesteria is also called "shrimp plant".

I like this plant. There's so many varieties of this little shrub that grow here. I even like the yellow form.
There's several growing outside in my neighborhood.

The yellow is nice as well but I do like this better.

I really like the new varieties with the much darker brakes. They're awesome!

I have not seen the new varieties Delonix1. Just this and the yellow one.

That's funny, I said darker brakes in my last comment. I meant: darker bracts. lol!
Oh yes, there's several forms with darker red bracts. There's some with lighter bracts, also.

I knew what you meant. I will have to look around for the new variety.

Yes, they're on the internet.
What's so nice about this little shrub is that it blooms all year. I never seen them out of bloom. They can get quite large, also...a little more than 6' (2 m) tall and wider.

Yes , think that I know this one .
First saw it growing wild in Tenerife , it must have blown across the Atlantic ( like everything else at the moment ).
