They are always a welcome sight aren't they Neena? It's really funny though, the snowdrops and crocus are bang on time for flowering here... But then, I had Primroses and my favourite Rhoddie in flower before Christmas, my Viburnham Dawn is back in flower again and I have plenty of Daffs up! Not sure if I'll have any to show for Mothering Sunday this year...!!!

Thank you Tracey, Yes Snowdrops and Crocuses are on time here too, no Daffodils out here yet they are only just shooting through, but my Viburnam Dawn has been in flower since before Christmas the weather has fooled some plants it seems though :o)

Thank you for liking Wildrose :o)

I have to give a talk to a small group at church on St. David's day. I've found out he was a monk who kept bees and grew vegetables.

18 Feb, 2016

He was a vegetarian and drank only water living to over a hundred! he founded many monastries including Glastonbury
so the story goes, apart from the Daffodil Leeks are also a national emblem said to be because he suggested soldiers wear them in their caps so they could be identified in battle, a little more Dewi Sant info for you!! good luck with your talk On March 1st :o)
