My Heucherella has a bloom spike coming and it has been outside in the ground all winter.

Sandra, it will go in a container, so it can fall over the sides.......

The storm seem more of a "storm in a teacup" than anything else even though it practically ran us over! Yes, we had some high winds & some rain but it didn't seem to be anything worth "writing home" about!

Dd, I have put mine on the top tier to tumble down the stone, but it is nowhere as big as yours. Storm Katy woke us up at 12.02 during the night rattling the letter box, but no damage. Thank goodness for concrete fence posts.

Balcony the south had a severe battering, with winds of 106mph, on ihe Island Katie made herself known, a great deal of damage has been done, we were lucky to get away with the loss of a 6ft Ceanothus,been out today, there are walls and fences down, thank goodness we finished the fencing in time!!

Its a beautiful healthy looking plant with so many interesting variations of colour ...Lovely !

Sorry to hear the strong winds blew down your Ceanothus, DD. We also has some pretty strong gusts here though nothing on the scale you probably had!
