Its not the weight Sheila although obviously that hasn't helped its always grown out sideways I'm guessing when it was younger it was probably trying to reach the light away from the Holly trees ,Thanks Carole Tony was tempted to have it down last year but I wouldn't let him the scent is stunning Angela especially in the evenings ...

Incredible, Amy, don't blame you for wanting to keep it.

We have a similar problem of lopsided growth, Amy, caused by lack of light. Have you thought of using old fashioned clothes-line forked props to support heavy branches.

We do have two props holding it up Mari ,can you see them half way up the trunk ..

So you have - I'd better get some new specs, lol.

Ha ha ,they're not easy to see it's a bit dark under those holly trees but the Ferns love it :o)
