Hostas' & ferns look so well together, I'm trying to stick to the more leathery hostas' which the slugs aren't so keen on but not I'm not brave enough to plant them out - so I'm keeping them in pots. Yours is fabulous.

GF, I like the architectural plants as much as flowering ones and if you get them to contrast even better. Yes, the 'leathery' leaved ones are good against the slugs and snails. I hope your potted ones stay perfect.

Another wonderful area Dawn...I have just moved my fern like yours as it outgrew its space.....it's doing really well and it's space is filled by Pieris Mountain Fire, more greenery for the winter months......:))

Sometimes things have to be moved, don't they Janey, ferns I find sulk a bit but soon look good again.
