Yes, When the railroads and highways are all shut down, I normally take a snow day. However, I can still work remotely from my home office and nobody can tell I'm in my underwear (SSHHH!!) lol .

Yes, the wind is dreadful & very dangerous. My furnace has been roaring non stop.

Sounds comfortable. lol! You need to come to Southern California where it's been relatively warm (65 - 80ºF) the last two weeks.

some wind??? It blew a fence down and am sure it must have done in a few trees in the woods. Vermont did not get as much as you did. Birds are going crazy.

Definitely Long Johns is in order, plenty of hot chocolate & chicken noodle soup, peanut butter & jam all makes it bearable. Spring will be great

Yes, the temperatures stay below freezing so this snow isn't going anywhere for a while. I heard snow cover is very beneficial for the garden.

Well the experts say that its beneficial for the garden , but dont think the birds and bees agree lol or my friends on holiday in New York.

on days like this, we all need a good laugh...and I just heard there's a big nasty storm brewing in Texas...ha ha ha!...and it's headed my way..ha ha ha!...I might lose my roof!..ha ha ha!

We managed to run out of water, get car stuck for third time, and no TV. Oh, well, that's snow for you. It is beautiful if you don't mind seeing WHITE. But it is a hassle.
The best thing about Vermont snow, it stays clean...

The snow on my property stays pretty clean. In the city? Not so much! Sometimes I'll notice "alien" foot prints in the snow. What the? Are you a skier Wells? I heard Vermont in big ski country.
