Heuchera flowering happily in my Wishing Garden

Looking very lush TT...may I ask, why the 'Wishing Garden' is so named?

Hi Julia .. thanks... the heuchera is planted in the base of a Wishing Well ornament which I inherited from my mother. The well does have a roof which I fix on sometimes.

What a stunning colour, TT! The only one I had died after2 years which was a shame. :-(( Mine-was a chocolaty colour though.

Lovely, Terra. I have several that colour - they're called Lime Marmalade, aren't they? - and they give a magnificent show. I like the purple spreading through yours.

This heuchera has lasted well.. some varieties don't thrive for very long.

Lovely & bright. I have a chocolate one which is thriving but my yellows green one died, & the pinky leaved one is struggling. They seem a bit temperamental to me.

Yes... heucheras are very unpredictable ... they seem to thrive only when their environment really suits them.

Your heuchera is gorgeous & lush, it must be happy in its spot.
I read that the yellows & paler ones do best with some shade from midday heat, the dark ones cope better.

Yes, Green finger ... this one is shaded at midday.

Thanks Odaatpat .. this heuchera has been thriving for many years ... Did you find a similar plant for yourself ? Some colours of heuchera do better than others ... this lime green colour seems hardy.
