Hellebore Niger (Christmas Rose ) bit early.

Bought yesterday in a small garden centre there were about 10 for sale this one and one other being distinct with the green outer edge,the rest were normal white .anyone else come across this variation I googled it but found no pics or ref to it
googled the grower in Germany they appear to grow them by the million ,there must be more.
Other though it could revert to all white .anyway I thought it quite attractive so put my hand in my pocket.

I have had green tinged ones Brian but nothing with green markings so dramatic as yours , You should have bought the other one but then knowing you I'm sure you'll collect seed and with your patience experiment to see what emerges in the future ... x
