Thanks girls, she is a little doll. Well Karen, they want to get out of the rat race and live a slower pace of life...they love Sydney, but spend so long in their vehicles with Aleks at daycare...they want to enjoy her childhood and can do that more easily in Taz.
We're very lucky these days with all our technology (when it's working!) aren't we, but yes I do miss them very much..as long as they're well and happy, I'm happy too.
Tazmania is a beautiful country....and they do like an adventure...?.

I have seen a lot of it on the tv and it is lovely. It reminds me of Scotland actually. But the weather will be better in the summer of course.

Yes it is wild and stunning, they've visited before, my aunt lived there for years. The temperatures will be in between Oz and the U.K.....cooler summers and clear fresh winters, also seasonal too. I'm expecting in a few years, they may try Antartica??....ha ha..

Perhaps they will get some sense and move to Scotland! Lol

What a beautiful little granddaughter you have Janey. Tasmania seems a long way off, but there is always the skype to talk to her on. Some of our relatives are in Australia.

I wish Karen! They were here last May and I tried persuading them to come back to York, where Jim used to be, just for a few years.....No Way Mum!! He's Thursday's child....has far to go..?
