Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender'

Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender' (Plectranthus)

I've wanted this plant from the first time that I saw it at Oxfords Botanic Gardens. Despite looking high and low for several years I couldn't find anyone who had it in the UK. As you can see I finally found it - at the village plant sale way back in May!
It is now blooming and I'm chuffed!

Wow! That's surprising this is such a difficult plant to find there in the UK. It's very common here, it grows as a little shrub here to 5' (1.5m) tall. It blooms all year here.

It looks great!

Well done......

Delonix - the commercial rights license is held by Ball Horticultural. They are very profit minded so are not really interested in marketing what would be niche plants in certain markets. Hence it being hard to find here.

Thanks DD!
