A very nice colour, Hywel! Will they come true from seed? Aren't they hybrids? If they are they won't come true from seed.

That is a very pretty aquilegia, gorgeous colour. Don't know why, but ours didn't do very well this year - they were all tall and leggy and the flowers themselves looked 'got at!' Perhaps frost had caught them at just the wrong time.
Wish they had looked like yours!

Yes Balcony this variety comes true from seed .
Wildrose my Aquilegias didn't do so well this year either. This one isn't too bad. It's a named variety, but the self seeded ones were not so good.

Thanks for that Hywel, I didn't know if they came true from seed seeing as the great majority are hybrids!
