This was the river Derwent at Belper after it had gone down a bit yesterday

Agree, it’s heartbreaking for the people who’ve had their homes and business flooded.

There were floods in a lot of places, and to have to clear up all the mess must be horrible.

This is a fantastic photo and truly shows the power of nature. The trees in the distance look lovely too.

Shocking to see the flood damage on the telly. It seems to be happening every year now. But when you see from above....a lot of these places that are flooded have been built on flood plains. So why are we so surprised.

we've certainly had some strange weather....I suppose the more flood defences they put up further up the river, the stronger the flow is going to be further down.
