Hosta in the rain

Hmmm, we're still waiting - the rain usually misses us in North Herts, but I'm still hoping!

Just a couple weeks!! We' ve not had any rain for about a month.

Ladies, reading Siris's comment I'm thinking now it is probably more like a month without rain here too. The water butts were both almost empty and the ground, in parts of the garden, was starting to crack ... :o(

I’ve filled my two water utts with the hose three times this month. Its getting very dry here too.

We’ve also had earth cracking in parts of the garden, but now we have proper RAIN! Hurrah!

Karen, am I right in thinking parts of Scotland are due to have a heatwave? That would be amazing for you!

Excellent news Sheila ... we are due to have thunderstorms midnight to 3am tonight.

Not here Shirley. Nothing higher than 13 till the end of the month. 13C here usually feels like 7 or 8 with the wind.

I have just brought mine in off the rotary line ... smells so much better when it's dried outdoors!

Lol! I know what you mean Shirley...I'm beginning to get a real case of Cabin Fever. I'm now trying to find one job to do each day, to try and make the time pass...ironing today...oh dear :(

Julia, sadly I don't knit or sew or have artistic talent so it's a bit of a struggle. Today I dug up a few big clumps of Primroses and divided them ... what to do tomorrow though? !!

Shh! Don't tell anyone, but I've discovered Adult Colouring. I find it very therapeutic and calming...when I feel like screaming lol!
