Unfortunately I haven’t the label and can’t recall the name. It’s up on the rockery at the top, scrambling and climbing up and over the short fence between the rockery and bund.
Usually has a profusion of colour, pink with a touch of white. I pruned it drastically last year and it’s come back stronger and with more leaf and bud. It’s not probably in the best spot as it should really be clambering up a pergola or tall fence or wall I think..

Thanks Anget, thanks Julia. I’m pleased you did something similar Julia, I feel I may be on the right track!

Wow, pretty pretty rose, it will be a bouquet in a short time. Any scent?

Thanks Aleyna, it does have a really pleasant scent. Quite an old fashioned sort of fragrance.

she's so pretty. could you take a cutting for a pergola and leave her happy? very unscientifically, I took a couple of pruning mistakes from my briar and "planted" them beside the mother plant... now I have three!

Hi Lori, thank you! There is an abundance of pink roses now!
I think your suggestion is a great idea, I’m going to give it a go! ;-)

the rose I called "briar" is rosa Therese Bugnet... very thorny, wonderful roses with a heavy attar scent. Good luck with yours, Kate. with all those lovely blossoms it has to be a polyantha crossed with a hybrid tea perhaps? so beautiful.

Thank you. Lori. I’ll look this one up, I’ll have to post an update as it’s flowering well. :-)

Such a good colour. I like these simpler roses.
