Berberis thunbergii Orange Rocket

I really like the colour of this Berberis and as for that little statue, she is very sweet indeed!

Love the colour alongside the pot and the bricks. Very clever.

brings back a memory of my youth... a friend had a barberry hedge she wanted removed as it was too near the entrance...she told me I could have it if I was willing to dig it out for her. There's a sucker born every minute, according to Mr. Barnum... the spines pierce the skin and break off... leaving a festering sore. It was a horribly hot day and I wore a halter top and cutoffs... I got a sunburn on top of the piercing spines in my forearms, fingers and palms... (gloves are for sissies) Berberis is so pretty and it is beautifully presented in your lovely terra cotta... I think that's the reason I've never had it in my garden since. Yours is lovely, but I'm still not tempted. lol...

OOOooo! I've always wanted an Orange Rocket Berberis. They are stunning and really show off in the autumn.

Oh Lori you really are a glutton for punishment ,I'll make sure I give it a wide berth , my neighbour was telling me her cat trod on a spine piecing it foot they had to pull it out with pliers ,poor puss ..

Its very eye catching Paul a beautiful colour ,new yesterday my first sneaky trip to a garden centre for 3 months , we rang first to ask when they had a safe time ...

Gosh never seen an orange leaved Berberis, only the deep purplish one.

It is a lovely colour Sue it caught my eye the minute I saw it , It actually felt scary Paul , as if we had escaped from somewhere and shouldn't have been outside ..

Yeh, I know the feeling Amy...I went to the corner store today for a bottle of fizzy raspberry water. I felt naughty! Please don't tell!
