So pretty - lovely planting.

Very lush and colourful, Hywel. Everything looks very healthy and mature. Is it your ‘pink rose’ on the fence or is it your neighbours? ( I say rose, but you may tell me some thing different. ) 😊

Thank you both :)

It's a rose called Masquerade Kate, it's yellow when it opens and then becomes red.
My neighbour's house is several feet lower down than this one because we're on a hill.

The Heuchera in the centre, at the bottom of the photo, looks wonderful.

Sounds a very lovely rose, Hywel.
Plus, I like the idea of neighbours on different levels too..

Lovely selection of plants there Hywel. They look very good. We are on different levels here too as we are on a hill.

Thank you all,
The houses are semis and each pair of houses is a bit higher or lower than the next ones.

The Heuchera is quite big Shirley, I think it's called Sweet Tea or something ?

Hywel, I looked up the 'Sweet Tea' as I like the look of yours and it's a Heucherella, a cross between a Tiarella and a Heuchera so I've learnt something today!

There's the Hosta.. Wow it all looks fabulous Hywel, so many pots and everything looking in tip top condition..smashing..

You've taught me something too Shirley :)

Janey I keep my Hostas in pots because I find slugs leave them alone :)

20 Jun, 2021

Yes, I haven't had Hostas for years, that's the only thing, so many snails and slugs here.

21 Jun, 2021

That's a shame, I think there are lots in old gardens, in the walls etc. You could try them in pots Janey, like I do.

Lovely, lots of colour.

I hate using slug pellets, but even use them in my summer pots as they get eaten by slugs and snails. Yes old walls and over winter spring they're multiplying in any leaf litter..
