That tummy is crying out to be stroked! What a pretty cat!

She is Ange, a little sweetheart. When she was tiny, we were going to call her Tawny as she looked like a little owl.. don't ask me why we didn't...haha...

What beautiful colouring, and the ears are certainly owlish … she looks so cuddly 🙂.

She's a lovely little girl Sheila, very sparky and flying round the garden when it's warm.
She's 13 now and likes to spend her evenings on the sofa arm next to me. If my cushion invades her space by an inch, she sits facing the wall..haha!

She looks like she has no cares in the world. She is lovely.

I'll tell her Siris. She faced the wall till I moved my cushion a fraction, now she's happy!...:))

You've two tortoiseshells too? Poppy mum was a small cream.Persian and her dad, a big ginger Tom!

I’ve got two tabby sisters with white paws and chest area. But one of them has more of a tortoiseshell colouring. She’s got three orange rings at the end of her tail!

She's really lovely Janey. She looks very content.

Aw,thank you Janey.,Poppy is so lovely,and I'm glad I asked in my PM,if she was a cat or a dog,or we wouldn't have seen this lovely photo of her :o) She looks so contented,and I know just what you mean,about her space being invaded by a cushion,or an arm,etc,My Daughter's Poppy ,miniature Dachsund ,lets me know as well ! ha ha.

Does she get on well with Lottie? ours is fine with their big fluffy grey rabbit :o) x

Hi Sandra, I knew your daughter had Poppy, I love the miniature dachshunds. I'd wondered if Lottie had dachshund in her make up, the vet did say that she was a very old breed of JR, long body, small legs and pointed face to get down the rat holes easily..:))
Yes Poppy and Teddy were with us first and I'm sure Lottie thought they were her parents!
She would stand in front of Poppy to have her face washed, and Pops would spend ages cleaning her.. They all get on great together, but Ted, loves to chase Pops down the garden still, that's because she didn't like him when.he first came, and he hasn't forgotten!
They know when it's family don't they..:))

Aw,they know who likes them,don't they? Our Poppy is so loving around peaople she knows,but barks at all strangers,but her tail still wags ,so I guess it could be a height thing,or protective towards us. Get down to her level,and she is fine :o)Not everyone can do that,can they ? lol.
It's nice that yours all get on well together,well mostly..maybe Ted will get fed up of chasing Poppy, one day :o) x

my son has a little torti rescue he's named Tinkerbelle... they are so very much a type.. my son belongs to a group on facebook dedicated to tortoiseshells.. and their "tortitude" lol. Poppy is gorgeous.

Poppy is very cute and cuddly. I think she knows it!

They do Sandra. Haha...your Poppy will be lower than Lottie. She's just the same, barks at everyone and every dog except my daughter's who I've had this weekend. Yes very protective. When Lott stops barking, she rolls over for tummy rubs..:))
Yes Ted enjoys a lazy life now, he'd sooner close both eyes...

Hello Lori, great to see you..:)) ! Tinkerbelle sounds lovely, yes the torties certainly have personality, very mischievous, when I call Pops, she looks to the left and then the right but never at me..haha..

She certainly does Paul..haha!
