More snow :( Oh dear ... but it doesn't look too deep, and they say a covering of snow protects the plants from exposure to damaging frosts.

Thank you, Klahanie, Rose and Hywel.
It is a fairly sheltered garden, thankfully! Plus, we are lucky not to get the snowfall you may incur, Klahanie.
Good to know there may be some protection there, Hywel!

It's still (mercifully) quite mild here. The snow came for one half day so far. I hope your half-hardies stay safe, Kate. I feel for the poor souls further North who for days have been without heat or light, especially those farmers who have to stay put because of their beasts.

You got snow before me! Very picturesque. I think your plants will be OK.

Forgot to say, yes Klahanie, we do use it, but usually when we're tidying up outdoors in spring or autumn.

Youre so right, Ange! It's been horrible for so many folks, Wales Northern Scotland especially.
We take things for granted at times..
They've had no electricity or water. Terrible time indeed.

Thanks Paul, I think we're lucky here..it had melted by the afternoon.

Yes Kate we had snow too but it soon melted. There's a storm coming later on today.

I don't think it will be either Kate! We haven't really had any here apart from a slight sprinkling. Is it a sheltered garden? Maybe you could protect some with fleece!
