Our 'Village' Christmas tree.

Have to say, it usually is quite a nicely decorated one here, Julia. I haven't seen the city centre one yet..maybe tomorrow.
That's a pity to hear yours in Chepstow isn't as you'd expected.

That's pretty. Our village one is donated by a local business and has white lights on it every year. This year it is a picture once it gets dark, they've chosen well.

Lovely decorated tree. People around here are putting up their Christmas lights in their gardens now.

our village uses a tree growing by the church. so it just gets bigger and bigger every year.

Thanks Linda. It’s the same here, Christmas lights all round the homes and gardens…we’ve some warm white across the front of our house and along the garage. Plus a couple of the acers have some small lights on too. Quite festive.

Our tree is a large conifer which has been planted on the roundabout for years, Eileen, a bit like yours in your village.

Our village doesn't have one and the next village used to have a big one but it blew over in a gale...Lots lights on the fronts of local houses though. The lights in the town are beautiful this year though.
